Sharon Bjorck, M.A., TESOL, is the founder and owner of Workplace English Consulting (WEC). As a language training specialist for 30 years, she designs and implements customized, innovative, and interactive training opportunities for groups of employees who are multi-lingual speakers. Sharon has trained thousands of people, having taught community college credit classes in academic ESL for 25 years. She has a passion for teaching creatively and imbuing a hunger for learning in her trainees. Now, through WEC, Sharon is investing her talents in helping businesses whose employees desire to enhance their English skills—thereby improving their job performance and/or advancing their careers. Outside of WEC, Sharon enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats, cooking new vegan recipes, crafting, and hiking in the local foothills in Southern California.

After Sharon Bjorck was selected by the U.S. Department of State to teach in the prestigious Virtual English Language Educator Program, she engaged with English language learners online in Ukraine via the NGO Kunsht. Thus far, she has taught five different groups through this NGO. All of the participants were scientists, researchers, and/or academicians in physical or social sciences.
